Hey kids, here is an idea for Mum for Mother’s Day that we LOVE and think you will too. It’s personal, it contains things Mum actually likes and better still you have taken the time to think and reflect on Mum.
So here we go….take 5 minutes to write a list of all the things Mum likes and then you compile it all into a jar. (The only limitation is they have to be small enough to fit inside a jar!)
Here are some ideas of things you could include:
- her favourite chocolate bar
- tea
- nail polish
- stationery
- bed socks
- hot chocolate sachets
- perfume
- hand cream
- bookmark
- pen or pencils
- earrings
- key ring
- lip balm
- gardening gloves & seeds
- cookie cutter
- loofah
- bath bomb
- nail file
- ‘tea for one’ strainer
- scarf
- candle
- mini hot water bottle
- eye pillow
In addition you could add:
– a poem you write for Mum;
– a photo of you with Mum; and/or
– a voucher promising to do something helpful for Mum (eg. unpack the dishwasher etc.)
