(UPDATE) FOUR Queenslanders have also been found to have contracted hepatitis A from eating frozen berries, which have already struck down four people interstate.

Just thought we would let you know that the Victorian Health Department has issued a recall of Nanna’s frozen mixed berries.  In total four people with Hepatitis A have presented in Victoria and New South Wales and were found to have eaten the frozen fruit.

Patties Foods have since announced they are undertaking a nation-wide recall of the mixed berries with a best-before date up to and including November 11, 2016, following advice from the health department.

300g and 350g packets of Creative Gourmet mixed berries were also recalled nationally.

Patties Foods advises consumers not to eat the product, and return packs to the place of purchase for a full cash refund.
