Amazing Story of A Pet Dog Who Saves A 2 Year Old Boy

0

This family is a friend of a friend of mine and I haven’t been able to get it out of my head all day.  Just an incredible story of the instinct of a pet dog and the quick thinking of a dad.  I also learnt something from this story which I am very grateful for.  I thought that if after 5-10 minutes of doing CPR if the person / child you were working on did not regain consciousness then it was too late.  This was not the case in this story as the dad was doing CPR for 27 minutes until the ambulance got there and this is what kept the boy alive.

You can watch more about it below …

His father performed CPR for 27 minutes before Alexander was airlifted to Brisbane's Lady Cilento Hospital where he was placed in an induced coma in intensive care for a harrowing 36 hours

The toddler left doctors in disbelief 48 hours later when he started making a speedy recovery and was able to breathe on his own after being brought out of the induced coma

Leala went into the dam to try and rescue Alexander on September 5 before the drenched dog ran back to the house frantically trying to get his father David's attention

Being a mum to 3 kids (one of them full time at home with me) and trying to juggle everything became pretty crazy.
