Cake Ingredients:

1 1/4 Cups of Self Raising Flour

1 Cup Rice Malt Syrup (you can just use a cup of normal sugar if you don’t have this)

1/3 Cup of Cocoa OR Cocao Powder

1 Egg

1/3  Cup of Coconut / Vegetable Oil

1 Cup Almond / Soy / Cows Milk

Dash of Salt

Place all ingredients into a bowl.

Sift the flour and cocoa/cocao power into the bowl.

Mix together with a wooden spoon.

If there are some little globs try using a fork or hand whisk to get them out.

Once a good runny consistency pour the mixture into a square cake time lined with baking paper.

Cook in the oven on 180 degrees for around 30 minutes and then leave to cool completely for at least an hour or two.

Icing Ingredients: (warning this icing is quite rich)

50 grams of Butter or Nuttelex

1/4 Cup Rice Malt Syrup

1/2 Cup Cocoa / Cocoa

Place all ingredients into a saucepan.

On low heat mix together until all of the ingredients have melted and mixed together.

Once it is the right smooth consistency take off the heat and allow to cool down.

Once reasonable cool but still running ice your cake!!!
