Is Ice Age Collision Course Worth A Watch?

0

Yesterday we had the chance to go along and see the premiere of Ice Age Collision Course which is the latest movie to hit the cinemas in the Ice Age series.  If I am not mistaken this is the 5th movie.

We have watched most of the Ice Age movies in our household but they have never been on high rotation so I was interested to see what the kids thought of this movie when we saw it.  We took along our 3 year old neighbour also so it was me, Miss 8, Miss 6 and Miss 3.

Sometimes it can be tricky taking little kiddos along to movies because you never really know how scary they are going to be.  I know in our recent experience we have seen a few movies which turned out to be way more scary than we thought.

The great news was about this movie is that it is truly fantastic for all ages.  Miss 8, Miss 6 and Miss 3 all said they loved the movie. The story line was interesting and entertaining enough to hold the kids attention for the 90 minutes and there were no surprise super scary or violent scenes you need to worry about.

It was very funny and there were some fantastic new characters introduced to the Ice Age serious which made it fresh and entertaining.  Even if you have not seen any of the previous Ice Age movies you would be able to watch this without missing anything.

The story line is about Scrat’s epic pursuit of the elusive acorn which catapults him into the universe where he accidentally sets off a series of cosmic events that transform and threaten the Ice Age World.  To save themselves, Sid, Manny, Diego, and the rest of the herd must leave their home and embark on a quest full of comedy and adventure, traveling to exotic new lands and encountering a host of colorful new characters.

You can watch a preview below and we are also giving 10 people the chance to score a family pass …

Being a mum to 3 kids (one of them full time at home with me) and trying to juggle everything became pretty crazy.
