New Year’s Resolutions aren’t only for adults – it is fun for kids to get involved as well.  It helps them reflect on the year just gone, focus for the year ahead and set some realistic goals.

Here are a few questions to get the ball rolling:

Sample Questions:

The one place I would like to visit this year for the first time is __________.

One new food I would like to try this year is __________.

I would like to try __________ activity for the first time this year.

I would like to take steps towards gaining this new skill this year __________.

I would like to be more helpful to __________ this year.

The best things I did in 2016 that I would like to continue to do more of this year are:___________

I would like to cook __________ for the first time this year.

One habit I would like to change this year is __________.

One book I would like to read by the end of the year is __________.

I’d like to save my pocket money this year to buy __________.

One household chore I would like to be in charge of this year is __________.

To look after myself better this year, I will __________.
(eg. definitely clean my teeth morning & night…..always wash my hands before eating etc.)

I am going to learn how to say hello and goodbye in these 2 languages this year. This one __________ and this one __________.
